Since 1870, The Graeter family has proudly supported many wonderful, charitable organizations in the community.
The Cure Starts Now Foundation
Graeter's is a major donor to the The Cure Starts Now Foundation , which fights for the cure for children with brainstem glioma and cancer survivors everywhere. With the support of our customers, our annual Cones For The Cure campaign has raised over $2,200,000 to fund the quest for a cure to all cancers. A special flavor of ice cream was created specifically for the organization —Elena’s Blueberry Pie—to help raise awareness about TCSN’s mission.
Graeter's proudly supports Tender Mercies , which provides housing and supportive services for homeless adults with the histories of severe mental illness. Tender Mercies aims to prevent a return to the streets for the region’s most vulnerable persons.
The Dan Beard Council Boy Scouts of America®
Graeter's is also an annual major sponsor of The Dan Beard Council Boy Scouts of America®, helping to provide the funds needed to deliver a strong program to over 33,000 local youth.
In addition to these major sponsorships, Graeter's also supports Cincinnati Public Radio, which broadcasts WGUC, WVXU, and WMUB; The Greater Cincinnati Alzheimer's Association, The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, The Cincinnati Symphony and Pops Orchestras, The University of Cincinnati Alumnae Foundation, The Ohio State University, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati, and a number of other charitable and cultural organizations in our community.
On a daily basis Graeter's donates bakery items to local soup kitchens in the Cincinnati area. The store teams also gives its time to the organization Adopt-a-Class donating school supplies and time to inter-city youth.
We also support thousands of smaller charitable organizations every year by the donation of gift certificates that are redeemable in local Graeter's retail stores. If you are requesting a donation for a 501(c)(3) recognized charitable organization, please submit your request through our online form Donation requests submitted by phone, mail or email will not be considered.online form
