Do I need to download the App to continue to participate in the Graeter’s Sweet Reward loyalty program?
To continue to participate you need to EITHER download and register through the App or register on the Sweet Rewards page of graeters.com/rewards
What is the name of the App and where do I get it?
The name of the App is "Graeter’s" and it is available wherever you currently get your Apps for your smart phone.
How do I migrate my existing account to the new App?
Just download the Graeter’s app! During the registration choose "Migrate" and complete the information INCLUDING your 14-digit Sweet Rewards account number (no spaces). Any banked points and rewards will be migrated to your new account using this method.
What if I don’t know my Sweet Rewards account number?
Graeter’s stores should be able to help you look the number up or you can contact [email protected] and provide the telephone number, email and name associated with the account.
If I download the App, can I still use my card?
No, your card will no longer work, but we can still add points using your phone number.
I don’t have a Smart Phone. Can I still participate in Sweet Rewards?
Yes, guests can visit graeters.com/rewards and register an account without a smart phone.
When will my card stop working?
After January 30, 2019, the physical Sweet Rewards cards will no longer work. Guest can use the Sweet Rewards account number, from the card, to migrate the account to the App. In store, the cards will no longer work to earn points and/or redeem rewards.
If I never migrate their account, will I still have rewards on my card?
Their reward will still exist, but it will not be in their card, they will need to migrate their account on the online portal, which can be found from graeters.com/rewards , or through the App
How do new guests enroll in Sweet Rewards?
Guests can download the Graeter’s app or register at graeters.com/rewards. They will sign up and enter in all of the required information on the app or web form.
I wanted to redeem my offer then I clicked out of the App, Where did it go?!
Look under "Account History" in the App menu, the QR code will live there until it expires.
Will guests still get email notifications with the App for rewards and offers (like birthday rewards)?
Yes! Email notifications will be linked with the website and the App. Guests will receive email notifications about App usage and offers as well.
Can guests just use a part of their reward?
Yes. The check amount must be SMALLER than the reward amount if they want to save some of that $ Reward for later. (i.e. they have $10 in rewards, and they have a check for $8, $2 will go back into their "bank." If they have $10 in rewards and their check is for $12, all of that $10 will be used.)
I tried to check in a receipt and it says "Check in limit reached"
For security purposes, we limit the customer to a certain amount of receipt barcode scans per day, and only 3 scans for a 12 hour period.
If I never migrate my account, will I still have rewards on my card?
The reward will still exist, but it will not be on a card. Guests will need to migrate their account on the online portal, which can be found from graeters.com/rewards, or through the Graeter’s app.

As of March 11, 2020, guests will no longer be able to migrate their old physical Sweet Rewards cards to the new Sweet Rewards program. Guests will have to create a new account by downloading the app to their smartphones or create an online profile with us at order.graeters.com/sign-up.

You can now add points, earn/redeem rewards and rewards dollars by simply having a team member look you up at the register upon checkout.
CAN I GET SWEET REWARDS POINTS FOR AN ONLINE/SHIPPING ORDER FROM YOUR WEBSITE?
Not at this time. Nationwide shipping orders (those delivered by UPS, not from our retail stores) are NOT eligible for Sweet Rewards points. To ship nationwide, please visit: www.graeters.com/shop-online.
However, online local delivery orders (on the Graeter’s app order.graeters.com) are eligible for Sweet Rewards points since this is coming directly from our retail stores. To order local delivery, please visit: order.graeters.com.
MY REDEEMED REWARD QR CODE DISAPPEARED. HOW CAN I GET IT BACK TO CLAIM MY REWARD?
To locate your offer QR Code, please follow these steps:
- Go to the Welcome/Home screen and click the “Rewards” button to navigate to the rewards page.
- On the rewards page, click the red “VIEW REWARDS” button. This button will lead you back to the “My Rewards” page.
- Click on the reward you redeemed and select the red “REDEEM IN STORE” button. This will bring your QR code back up to redeem your offer/reward.
WILL GUESTS STILL RECEIVE EMAILS WITH THE NEW SWEET REWARDS PROGRAM?
Yes, of course! Emails will be linked with both website and the Graeter’s app registrants. Guests will continue receiving emails about exclusive offers, rewards (including the yearly birthday reward) and what’s new at Graeter’s. (See below for more information about birthday rewards.)
HOW DO I REFER A FRIEND?
How to refer a friend to Graeter’s Sweet Rewards on the Graeter’s app:
- Please make sure you are signed into your Sweet Rewards account before you begin this process.
- Go to the Welcome/Home screen and click the dropdown menu located in the left-hand corner of your screen (this is three grey lines in the circular white button). On the dropdown menu, select the “ACCOUNT” button. This will take you to another screen of options.
- On the next screen, select “REFERRAL CODE.” This will take you to your unique referral code that your referral (friend or family member) will use at sign up. They must type your unique code on their registration page for the referral to work. This cannot be done after the registration process is complete.
How to refer a friend on order.graeters.com:
- Please make sure you are signed into your Sweet Rewards account before you begin this process.
- Go to the Welcome/Home screen and click the dropdown menu located under your name in the right-hand corner of your screen.
- On the dropdown menu, select the “ACCOUNT” button. This will take you to another screen of options.
- Your unique referral code is located halfway down the screen that your referral (friend or family member) will use at sign up. You can also choose to easily copy your unique code by clicking the red “Copy” button. They must type your unique code on their registration page for the referral to work. This cannot be done after the registration process is complete.
HOW MANY BONUS POINTS DO I RECEIVE FOR REFERRING A FRIEND?
Sweet Rewards guests can earn 30 bonus points for EACH referral. See below for more information on when you receive your referral bonus points.
WHEN DO I RECEIVE 30 BONUS POINTS FOR REFERRING A FRIEND?
To obtain 30 bonus points, the person you are referring to the Graeter’s App must NOT have a previous account associated with the new Sweet Rewards program/Graeter’s app. 30 Bonus points are gifted after your friend(s) registers and makes their first purchase! A first purchase must be greater than $0.01.
HOW DO I ENTER A RECEIPT ON MY ACCOUNT TO EARN POINTS?
You will need the 13-digit Loyalty Summary barcode number located at the bottom of your receipt.
Scan a receipt in the GRAETER’S APP to add your points:
- Go to the Welcome/Home screen and click the “Rewards” button to navigate to the rewards page.
- On the rewards page, click the white “SCAN/EARN POINTS AT A LOCATION” button.
- Then select either “SCAN BARCODE” or “ENTER BARCODE MANUALLY” to proceed. You can scan the 13-digit Loyalty Summary barcode number located at the bottom of your receipt or type it in manually.
Enter your receipt on ORDER.GRAETERS.COM to add your points:
- Please make sure you are signed into your Sweet Rewards account before you begin this process.
- Go to the Welcome/Home screen and click the dropdown menu located under your name in the right-hand corner of your screen. On the dropdown menu, select the “REWARDS” button.
Scroll towards the bottom of the page and select the white “ENTER RECEIPT BARCODE” button. - Type in the 13-dogit Loyalty Summary number and hit “Submit”.
On your next in-store visit, if you would like to earn points by simply giving your phone number at checkout, your points will automatically be added to your account for you. Please make sure your phone number has been added to your PROFILE on your Sweet Rewards account first. No app, no scanning needed.
WHAT CAN I EARN WITH MY REWARDS POINTS?
Every 100 Sweet Rewards points earns you a $5.00 reward. When you reach 100 points on your account, they are automatically converted into a $5.00 reward and your points begin at 0 again.
Guests are able to use their $5.00 rewards on ice cream and select merchandise at participating scoop shops and orders made online at order.graeters.com/Graeter’s app. (Note: This excludes Nationwide Shipping, Catering and Food Truck purchases.)
I TRIED TO CHECK IN A RECEIPT AND IT SAYS "CHECK IN LIMIT REACHED"
For security purposes, we limit our customers to a 3 check-ins/3 of receipt loyalty summary barcode scans per day, and only 3 scans for transactions occurring within a 12-hour period. The amount of the transaction (Check Sum) also has to be greater than zero.

CAN I EARN POINTS FOR PURCHASING GIFT CARDS?
No. Guests cannot earn points when gift cards purchased, only when a gift card is being used as a form of payment to make a purchase.
CAN I SAVE A GIFT CARD(S) ON THE GRAETER’S APP/ONLINE?
Not at this time. We do not allow gift cards to be saved/stored on guests’ Sweet Rewards profiles for future online ordering purposes.
CAN I USE MY GIFT CARD ON THE GRAETER’S APP/ONLINE FOR LOCAL PICKUP AND DELIVERY?
Yes, of course! You can apply a gift card for local delivery, curbside and in-store pickup orders placed through the Graeter’s app/ order.graeters.com.
CAN I USE MORE THAN ONE FORM OF PAYMENT ON THE APP/ONLINE ORDERING?
Currently, this is only available for purchases being made with a Gift Card. You can add a gift card at checkout and use the remaining balance on that gift card and then use a credit card to pay for the remining balance.
CAN I USE MORE THAN ONE REWARD AT A TIME?
Unfortunately, No. Guests cannot use more than one offer/reward at a time regardless of making the purchase in-store, online or through the Graeter’s app.
CAN I USE AN OFFER/REWARD AND REWARDS CURRENCY AT THE SAME TIME?
Unfortunately, No. Guests cannot use an offer and rewards currency ($5.00 reward) at the same time regardless of making the purchase in-store, online or through the Graeter’s app.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR MY POINTS/REWARDS TO SHOW UP ON MY ACCOUNT/APP AFTER I MAKE A PURCHASE?
Points, rewards and rewards currency ($5.00. rewards) can take up to 24 hours to appear on your Sweet Rewards account. You can always double check your Account History or log out of your account and log back into your account to refresh your points and rewards.
DO MY LOYALTY POINTS EXPIRE?
Yes. Loyalty points will expire after 1 YEAR of inactivity and will go back down to zero. A “year of inactivity” is from the guest’s last purchase/check-in with their Sweet Rewards account. (A check-in must be a purchase of $0.01 or more.)
You can locate your last purchase information under “ACCOUNT HISTORY” on your Sweet Rewards account.
DO MY REWARDS EXPIRE?
Yes. For every $5.00 reward you earn, it will expire 1 CALENDAR YEAR after the earned date.

CAN GUESTS JUST USE A PART OF THEIR $5.00 REWARDS DOLLARS?
Yes, of course! Guests can select the $$ amount of the reward they would like to use.

CAN GUESTS JUST USE A PART OF THEIR REWARD?
Yes, of course! Guests are able to select the amount of the reward they want to use. (Example: You can use $6 of your $10 rewards and have $4 for next time you visit us.)

Redeem your rewards dollars via the Graeter’s app:
- Go to the Welcome/Home screen and click the “Rewards” button to navigate to the rewards page.
- On the rewards page, click the red “REDEEM IN STORE” button and then type in the $$ amount you would like to redeem.
- After you redeem the $$ amount, a QR code will pop up for you to scan at the register and redeem your rewards dollars.

- Please make sure you are signed into your Sweet Rewards account before you begin this process.
- Go to the Welcome/Home screen and click the dropdown menu located under your name in the right-hand corner of your screen. On the dropdown menu, select the “REWARDS” button.
- On the rewards page, click the red “REDEEM IN STORE” button and then type in the $$ amount you would like to redeem.
- You can use the QR Code OR Tracking Code at checkout to redeem your $$ rewards in store.
Redeem your rewards in store at the POS/Register:
- At checkout, you can give a team member your phone number (or email) and they will be able to look up your account at the register.
- Tell the team member the $$ rewards amount you would like to use and they can apply it to your order.
Important: When ordering online (order.graeters.com)/ Graeter’s App for LOCAL DELIVERY, CURBSIDE PICKUP or IN-STORE PICKUP, DO NOT follow the instructions above. Please start your order FIRST and then redeem your reward on the payment screen. (You will NOT be able to claim your reward on the payment screen when ordering online/Graeter’s app until the code expires if you pre-redeemed the reward.)
HOW DO I EARN A BIRTHDAY REWARD?
Sweet Rewards members will be eligible for a birthday reward if they have made at least 1 purchase within the last 12 months or have earned at least 1 point (spend of $0.01) in the Sweet Reward program. Guests will also need to make sure that they have added their birthday in their profile to receive the reward.
To add your birthday on your account, login and click “EDIT PROFILE.” App Users: The edit profile section is located under the “MORE” tab at the bottom of your screen.

HOW DO I ADD/UPDATE MY BIRTHDAY REWARD?
First, Sweet Rewards members need to make sure they have added their birthday to their profile to receive their birthday reward. To add your birthday to your Sweet Rewards account, login to Sweet Rewards through the Graeter’s App or online at order.graeters.com/login and click “ACCOUNT” in the dropdown menu. You will locate your birthday towards the bottom of the screen.
HOW DO I UNLOCK MY BIRTHDAY REWARD?
Sweet Rewards members will be eligible for a birthday reward once they have made at least 1check-in (purchase of $0.01 or more) with their Sweet Rewards account. This purchase must be made 2 days prior to their birthday.
To keep your birthday unlocked, Sweet Rewards members must make at least 1 purchase each year 12 in the Sweet Reward program.

All birthday rewards are gifted on the DAY OF YOUR BIRTHDAY. You will have 1 week to redeem your birthday reward from this date.

At this time, we do not allow a “guest checkout” option for local orders through online/app. Guests ordering through the website/app must have a Sweet Rewards account with us.

Select CURBSIDE PICKUP locations offer scoops, sundaes, milkshake, malts, ice cream sodas, coffee chillers and smoothies. (Not available for delivery.)

HOW DO I RESET MY PASSWORD?
Guests must use the “Reset Password” button and an email will be sent to change their password. (Note: You will have 6 hours to reset your password. Past the 6-hour mark, you will need to request another reset password email.)
Didn’t receive your reset password email? The following could be happening:
- Your email may be incorrect on your profile (oops, we all make mistakes!)
- Your email might not be verified after you signed up to be part of the Sweet Rewards program.
- You are possibly trying to login/request a new password from our Nationwide Shipping section of our website instead of Sweet Rewards: order.graeters.com/login.
