New Scoop Shop Set to Open Spring, 2018
CINCINNATI, OH (April 12, 2018) – Graeter’s Ice Cream, family owned craft ice cream maker since 1870, is excited to announce plans to open the newest scoop shop in Cleveland’s Pinecrest. This location, the 2nd in the Cleveland area and 54th in the family of scoop shops, is set to celebrate its Grand Opening on May 18th, 2018. The store will offer a complete menu of indulgent ice cream treats, with a portion of the proceeds from opening day benefitting local charity, The Gathering Place. The address of the Pinecrest location is 10 Park Avenue, Suite 116, Beachwood, OH 44122-4237 within the Pinecrest mall community. Spring hours of operation are 11 A.M. to 10 P.M. Sunday thru Thursday, and 11 A.M. to 11 P.M. Friday and Saturday.
A ribbon cutting celebrating the new scoop shop opening is planned for May 18th. Local community members are invited to celebrate along with the Graeter family, Store Manager Clem Marshall, The Gathering Place staff members and other members of the Graeter’s team. A portion of the proceeds will go to the charity, allowing The Gathering Place to continue to support families in the community who are coping with cancer.
This award-winning ice cream now becomes more accessible to loyal consumers beyond local grocery stores and a scoop shop location in Crocker Park. Available in pints in area grocery stores for the past few years, Graeter’s looks forward to now sharing a full menu of ice cream flavors, sundaes, milkshakes, old-fashioned sodas and candy to even more Cleveland area fans.

A Hard Hat Tour celebrating the new scoop shop opening is planned for June 20 at the Crocker Park location, whereby media in the community and area dignitaries are invited to celebrate along with the Graeter family and Graeter’s team members.
